National VHS Barcode Scanner

Selling National VHS barcode scanner, brand National, model VEQ0542; works normally but lacks the battery cover. I’m unsure whether it serves any modern purpose today, but it was originally used to read barcodes published in TV magazines and transmit them via infrared to VHS video recorders/players for automatic TV recording scheduling. Operational with 4 AAA batteries (not included). Hand-delivery available in the Almada area and some surrounding locations, or shipping via CTT to anywhere in the country.
