A dynamic environment and access to methodologies from a world-leading logistics company **A role with real impact on safety, environment, and operations.** The **DHL Supply Chain** is seeking to strengthen its Operations Excellence team in **Odemira** with an **Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental Professional**. We are looking for an autonomous, responsible, and operationally oriented individual capable of serving as a local reference in Health, Safety, and Environment, working closely with operational teams. With direct impact on daily operations and teams, this role offers the opportunity to influence behaviors, reinforce a strong prevention culture, and contribute to safer, more efficient, and more sustainable workplaces. **Key Responsibilities** * Coordinate and implement occupational health, safety, and environmental activities, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and internal company standards. * Conduct risk assessments, monitor prevention plans, investigate incidents, and develop actions that reinforce safety culture and reduce accident rates. * Participate in the implementation and monitoring of standards and audits in Quality, Environment, and Safety—including systems such as HACCP and/or BRC. * Collaborate closely with operational teams to identify risks, define corrective actions, and implement preventive measures. * Manage and oversee small projects and action plans—from conception through to implementation—ensuring execution, planning, and quality of outcomes. * Promote awareness-raising initiatives and training, contributing to the development of safe and sustainable behaviors. **Desired Profile** * Qualification as an Occupational Health and Safety Technician. * CAP Trainer Certification (preferred) or willingness to obtain it. * Experience in Occupational Health and Safety roles, preferably within industrial, agro-industrial, or logistics environments. * Fluency in Portuguese. * Fluency in English. * Knowledge of Spanish (an asset). * Strong communication and influencing skills when engaging with diverse stakeholders. * Autonomous, organized, and problem-solving oriented profile. * Enthusiasm for hands-on work alongside operations and frontline teams. **Why Join DHL Supply Chain?** Joining DHL Supply Chain means becoming part of a globally recognized organization celebrated for operational excellence, commitment to people, and focus on continuous improvement.
