Team Leader with experience in logistics (M/F) - Beja

Job Summary: Responsible for overseeing the operational development of teams, ensuring the execution of urban waste collection and cleaning services, and managing administrative procedures. Responsibilities: • Monitor the operational performance of their work teams, intervening in problem resolution according to established procedures, activity planning, and higher-level directives, in order to ensure compliance with defined plans and contribute to optimizing resources used in operations; • Communicate task assignments to team members, monitor the execution of urban waste collection and cleaning services through continuous supervision, and verify compliance with the daily work plan set by the Service Center Manager, thereby ensuring adherence to established service levels and completion of scheduled activities; • Ensure compliance with all administrative procedures, including completing incident reports, verifying and validating daily logs, and other pre-established documents; • Distribute and deliver equipment, uniforms, and accessories to team members, ensuring their maintenance, checking their condition, and arranging replacements when necessary; • Report work progress to the Supervisor, communicate abnormal situations, and receive instructions regarding upcoming service planning and any required adjustments, thus aligning work execution with received instructions and enabling timely communication and action in exceptional circumstances; • Inform all team members of their rights and responsibilities; • Comply with, and ensure compliance with, all Quality, Environment, and Safety procedures, collaborating and participating in implementing essential measures to guarantee hygiene and safety conditions at the workplace. Requirements / Competencies: • Logistics experience (preferred) • Two years’ prior experience in similar roles • Experience leading teams (mandatory) • Availability to spend 3 months in Northern Portugal for training (accommodation, transportation, and allowance) (mandatory) • User-level computer skills • Analytical and problem-solving skills • Driver’s license for light and/or heavy vehicles is an advantage • Responsible and team-oriented • Willingness for national mobility • Full and immediate availability • Flexible working hours Work Location: Beja Conditions: - Direct contract with the Company - Performance-based bonuses - Health insurance after 6 months of contract - Bi-weekly curative medical care
