Job Summary: We are seeking a live-in caregiver to provide comprehensive care and assistance to an elderly bedridden woman, including hygiene, mobility assistance, meals, medication administration, and household organization. Days off to be agreed upon monthly We are seeking a live-in caregiver to assist an elderly bedridden woman in Ovar. Responsibilities: - Live-in residence at the elderly person's home - Hygiene and comfort care - Assistance with mobility - Mealtime support - Supervision and assistance with medication intake, as well as medication management - Household organization and cleaning - Meal preparation - Nighttime support whenever necessary - Accompaniment for outings whenever necessary (shopping, errands, medical appointments, tests, purchasing missing medication) Person Requiring Care: - Dependent for hygiene and mobility - Uses adult diapers - Family support is available during the day whenever possible Requirements: - Proven experience in caring for bedridden elderly persons (mandatory) - Experience in domestic tasks and meal preparation - Proficient reading and writing skills in Portuguese (mandatory) - Training or knowledge in nursing and/or geriatrics (preferred) - Sense of responsibility, empathy, amiability, understanding, patience, and strong communication skills - Respectful and dignified personal care - Valid driver's license (preferred) Offered: - Accommodation in a single room - Full family meals included - Days off to be agreed upon (4 days off per month) - Remuneration commensurate with experience (€850–€1,100 net/month, depending on experience) Interested candidates should send a message detailing professional experience and telephone contact.
