Specifically includes: Collaborating in the inventory and permanent updating of records concerning risks, resources, means, and infrastructure within the municipality relevant to the Municipal Civil Protection Service; Collaborating in the registration process of serious accidents and disasters occurring in the territory, including their nature, magnitude, effects, and information regarding ongoing field operations—both to superiors and to command units responsible for rescue operations; Supporting damage and loss assessment actions in areas affected after disasters; Reporting and referring incidents to the competent authorities overseeing rescue operations; Providing logistical support to victims and rescue forces during emergencies, both inside and outside the municipal territory; Collaborating in the establishment, organization, and management of emergency accommodation centers; Preventive interventions aimed at minimizing risks; Intervention or support in protection, rescue, and civil protection operations; Supporting other Operational Assistants in Civil Protection (APCs); During rescue operations, acting in accordance with hierarchical instructions issued by command structures and adhering to elementary personal safety measures; Conducting surveillance, signage, and maintenance activities for public spaces, communication routes, river beaches, and other publicly accessible locations—as well as for public buildings—to ensure their normal, safe operation and use by people and animals, whether for preventive purposes or for restoring normalcy after an incident; Identifying and signaling risk situations; Participating in training and awareness-raising activities; Collaborating in awareness campaigns, public information initiatives, or other civil protection-related activities; Participating in drills, simulations, or other civil protection-related exercises; Collaborating in telecommunications operationalization; Performing maintenance and conservation work on infrastructure, equipment, and materials; Conducting pest control and maintenance activities in high-risk locations for rural fire prevention, as well as removing debris and other elements contributing to thermal load in fuel management operations; Conducting surveillance, initial intervention, and firefighting activities in rural fire suppression operations, and integrating rescue teams when requested by command units in their respective operational theatres; Collaborating with all entities competent in surveillance, initial intervention, and firefighting across the territory; Collaborating and performing tasks related to surveillance, prevention, and control of invasive species posing risks to people, property, and animals; Other tasks assigned by the head of the organizational unit within the scope of competencies of the Municipal Civil Protection Service, provided the worker possesses appropriate professional qualifications and such tasks do not entail professional devaluation **Workplace** **Number of Positions** **Address** **Locality** **Postal Code** **District** **Municipality** Fafe Municipal Council 4 Avenida 5 de Outubro Fafe 4824501 FAFE Braga Fafe **Total Number of Positions:**4 **Quota for Persons with Disabilities:**1
