**Job Description:** An engineering and construction company is seeking to immediately hire a Safety and Health Coordinator for a road inspection project with wind energy experience, based in **Guarda (Portugal)**. The professional will be responsible for coordinating the Safety and Health aspects of a wind farm repowering project, while also participating in overall HSE supervision. **Main Responsibilities:** * Coordinate the implementation of the **Safety and Health Plan** on site. * Review the **Safety and Health Study** during the preliminary phase, when applicable. * Supervise compliance with **HSE/SST regulations** throughout all project phases. * **Coordinate preventive activities** among different contractors. * Prepare **technical reports** and propose **improvement measures**. * Possess solid **knowledge of safety and health legislation**, particularly within the **wind and photovoltaic sectors**. * Monitor work methods and conduct **meetings, minutes, and reports**. * Review documentation and participate in **investigations and audits**. * Provide **technical assistance to the client** and implement the corresponding **risk management system**. * Control working methods and carry out **meetings, minutes and reports**. * Review documentation and participate in **investigations and audits**. * Provide **technical support to the client** and implement the respective **risk management system**. **REQUIREMENTS** **Education:** * **Bachelor’s/Master’s degree** in a technical field (Engineering, Civil Engineering, Technical Architecture, etc.). * Certified training as a **Safety and Health Coordinator** (minimum 200 hours). * **Higher Technician / Master's in Occupational Risk Prevention** (60 ECTS with recognized certification). **Languages:** * **Portuguese** – Advanced level * **Spanish** – Advanced level **Experience:** * Proven experience in **civil engineering projects**. * **Over 5 years** of experience as a **Safety and Health Coordinator** in the construction sector (experience in **wind and photovoltaic** highly valued). * Previous experience in **road projects** and/or **wind farms** is an advantage. **Other Requirements:** * **Valid driver's license.** * Availability to work in the **Guarda** area. **Offered Conditions** * **Immediate hiring (September 2025).** * Contract tied to the **estimated project duration (24/30 months)**, with potential continuation in other projects. * **Full-time schedule.** * **Competitive salary**, commensurate with experience and qualifications. **Advantageous Qualifications:** * Knowledge of quality control, process improvement, document management, non-conformance management, equipment calibration, etc. * Training in ISO 45001, working at heights, confined space work, first aid, fire extinguishing, electrical risk, etc. Note: This position requires **availability for relocation/travel within Portugal** for the entire project duration.
