Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive professional with an operational leadership profile to coordinate and optimize collaboration between the parts department and the workshop, with a focus on process improvement and efficiency. Key Highlights: 1. A role with real and visible impact from the first month. 2. Increasing autonomy as competence is demonstrated. 3. Opportunity for progression to formal leadership of the operational area. AGROLIMA is an importer of agricultural and industrial machinery, operating directly and supported by a nationwide network of agents across Portugal. We are a growing and transforming company — professionalizing our internal structure and building conditions for sustainable growth. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR We seek someone who can help us coordinate and optimize collaboration between our parts department and the workshop — a proactive individual with an operational leadership profile and a genuine desire to make a difference. – Genuine predisposition towards processes and standardization — aiming to reduce inefficiencies not only in one’s own routine but also in those of others around them. – Ability to assume responsibility and manage priorities, executing daily tasks while simultaneously designing how to reduce or eliminate them. – Natural curiosity, enjoyment of working with people and in teams, openness to testing new possibilities and learning from practical experience. – This is a newly created role, designed to make our operations more efficient, better organized, and more modern. We seek someone who identifies waste, questions it, eliminates it — and builds lasting processes. WHAT YOU WILL DO The role will evolve according to your ability to drive your own progress. We believe the best way to understand a system is to work within it — thus we begin at the operational level. Initial phase — immersion into daily work – Warranty processes — managing the entire national warranty process and integration with brands. – Receiving, verifying, and registering parts in the system (ERP PHC). – Managing orders and tracking pending items. – Analyzing current data and processes — mapping existing workflows before implementing changes. Natural progression — deepening involvement in daily operations – Coordinating the daily flow between the parts department and the workshop, ensuring repair orders advance without bottlenecks and within deadlines. – Implementing and maintaining 5S organization practices in the warehouse and workshop. – Identifying inefficiencies and proposing concrete process improvements. – Monitoring delivery deadlines and proactively communicating with customers and the team. – Working side-by-side with the Parts Coordinator and the Workshop Coordinator — leveraging their technical expertise to build more robust processes. – Documenting and formalizing work instructions and operational procedures. – Reporting operational performance KPIs to management. WHAT WE OFFER A role with real and visible impact from the first month. Increasing autonomy as competence is demonstrated. A technically skilled team with extensive knowledge and strong commitment. Close and committed leadership dedicated to the company’s transformation. Opportunity for progression to formal leadership of the operational area. REQUIRED COMPETENCIES – Experience in operational coordination, warehouse management, or team leadership. – Practical knowledge of 5S or Lean methodologies — mandatory, not merely theoretical. – Ability to work with ERP systems (experience with PHC is an advantage). – Proactive profile, with critical thinking and results-oriented mindset focused on measurable outcomes. – Strong communication skills and ability to manage internal and external relationships — enthusiasm for interacting with people, customers, and suppliers. – Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Management, Production Engineering, or related field (preferred but not mandatory). This position is full-time and on-site. Compensation will be determined based on experience and profile. How to apply: Send your CV and a brief note describing your experience in operational process improvement to Priscila.henriques@agrolima.com Benefits: * Free parking * Course reimbursement * Company mobile phone Academic qualifications: * University degree (preferred) Work location: On-site
