




A) FUNCTION OBJECTIVE: Contribute to ensuring safety, productivity, and manufacturing capacity of equipment and tools through the provision of maintenance services. Specifically, this will be achieved through the planning and coordination of the team's maintenance activities, ensuring technical support to the production process, as well as promoting productivity and developing the skills of team members. B) RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: * Coordinate team member activities including task assignment, objectives, and priorities. * Conduct daily meetings with team members and facilitate communication between shifts, focusing on maintenance team performance indicators. * Facilitate efficient and open communication within the team and with other teams/departments in the organization. * Respond to corrective maintenance requests from the production team by managing priorities and coordinating resources. * Lead and actively participate in solving problems related to equipment performance using quality tools (e.g., 8D, 6M, 5 Whys). * Lead and actively participate in collecting data/information necessary for managing maintenance of production lines. * Ensure compliance with preventive maintenance plans. * Perform maintenance services (corrective; preventive; predictive/inspection; optimization of activity/system), repairs, replacements, and general adjustments. * Diagnose root causes of failures and take necessary corrective actions. * Test equipment before and/or after interventions, take corrective actions if needed, and make recommendations to prevent recurrence of failures and improve equipment performance. * Actively participate in the process development phase of new programs, specifically in defining preventive maintenance plans and associated standards, as well as preparing spare parts strategies for equipment. * Provide technical support during the reception of new equipment (installation, validation, and commissioning). * Lead, motivate, and support the development of team members. * Train new members (e.g., safety rules for equipment operation, maintenance processes, procedures, maintenance technologies, etc.). * Promote continuous improvement within the team and support the implementation of improvements, focusing on safety, quality, cost, delivery, and motivation. * Provide initial support on personal matters of maintenance technicians (managing absences, vacations, personal issues, etc.). * Ensure maintenance, cleaning, preservation, storage, and control of all materials, instruments, and equipment. * Ensure adherence to and compliance with safety regulations for the team. * Continuously improve health, safety, and environmental conditions. * Support or participate in the definition, implementation, and maintenance of organizational policies. * Comply with and enforce, as well as actively participate in the continuous improvement of Environmental Management, Occupational Health and Safety policies. * Comply with organizational rules and internal regulations: Code of Ethics, practices, and working hours. * Foster a culture characterized by strong professional ethics and engagement across all departments. * Perform other tasks not included in the originally contracted role when justified by operational needs or service requirements, for the necessary duration. C) REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Specialized training in mechanics, electromechanics, electronics, industrial maintenance, automation, or related field, or a degree in engineering or related area. * Previous experience in a similar role is desirable. * Experience in line transfers (preferred). * Problem Solving skills (5W; Ishikawa; PDCA; 8D) (preferred). * Solid knowledge of machine operation (mechanics, pneumatics, electronics, electricity, automation, robotics, etc.). * Ability to interpret machine and electrical schematics. * Knowledge of automotive industry standards. * Proficiency in computer applications at user level. * SAP knowledge at user level. * Knowledge of English and/or German. * Experience in automotive production line environments (desirable).
