Anna de Sommer Champalimaud e Dr. Carlos Montez Champalimaud), a private, non\-profit research institution in Lisbon, Portugal, is looking for a **MRI Technician** to join our team at the Champalimaud Research Program. The selected candidate will acquire data in ultra high field preclinical MRI scanners from ex vivo and in vivo samples, handle biological or other samples, and operate and maintain scanners with utmost care. The position includes a wide range of tasks and responsibilities to ensure the smooth functioning of the Platform. The position also requires handling small rodents and other samples according to ethical and legal obligations, and interacting with vendors to diagnose and solve hardware problems. Requirements Research Field: Physics, Biological sciences, Biological engineering, Chemistry Education Level: Master Degree Skills / Qualifications * Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree (MSc / PhD preferred) in Biomedical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry. Initial duration: 12 months with possibility of renewal Eligibility criteria / How to apply National, Foreign or Stateless candidate(s) who hold a Bachelor’s Degree (MSc / PhD preferred) in Biomedical Sciences/Engineering Areas or other related scientific areas and a scientific and professional curriculum that reveals a profile appropriate to the activity to be developed. In case of PhD degrees awarded by foreign higher education institutions, the degree must comply with the provisions of Decree\-Law No. 341/2007, of 12th of October, and all formalities established therein must be fulfilled by the deadline for application submission. Selection process Candidates will be screened to determine eligibility based on minimum qualifications listed in call. Candidates meeting minimum requirements will be scored according to the required application materials: CV 70% weighting, motivation letter 20%, interview 10% (in case of a tie).
