We are currently recruiting an experienced and motivated Process Engineer to join our Zollern Portugal team. **Job Mission:** Responsible for effectively conceiving, implementing, and supervising various production processes—including testing systems and procedures to ensure technical standards—and creating product quality documentation, thereby guaranteeing compliance with defined standards and requirements. **Main Tasks and Responsibilities:** * Monitor production processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, or quality weaknesses, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to ensure process reliability; * Apply root cause analysis (RCA) methods and problem-solving methodologies to resolve manufacturing process-related defects (e.g., porosity, inclusions, execution errors, others...); * Provide manufacturing process information throughout the entire project lifecycle to ensure Design for Manufacturing (DFM); * Conduct process validation studies, including process capability analysis and Statistical Process Control (SPC); * Develop, update, and maintain work instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and routine control plans; * Deliver training in production process areas and prepare related documentation. **Key Competencies:** * Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (highly valued), Industrial Management Engineering, or similar; * Professional experience of over 3 years in an industrial environment (preferred); * Practical experience as a Process Engineer; * Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen – valued); * Critical analytical and problem-solving skills; * Fluency in English (spoken and written); German language proficiency is highly valued. **What We Offer:** Opportunity to actively participate in challenging technical projects aimed at improving the company’s internal production processes; Potential for personal and professional growth within a dynamic and demanding international work environment; Continuous and strategic investment in Zollern’s training and career development plan; You will find in our culture and values an environment characterized by tolerance, high expectations, respect, and appreciation.
