Job Summary: We are seeking a maritime-tourism operator (Skipper) to join the DouroWay team, combining river tourism operations with local accommodation management, including boat tours, maintenance, and cleaning. Public transport access is convenient (direct train from Porto, ~2 hours), with the station located approximately 2 minutes from the site. We seek a team member to join **DouroWay**, performing combined duties in river tourism operations and local accommodation management, including boat tours, vessel and accommodation maintenance, and cleaning. - About DouroWay DouroWay is a Douro River tourism company offering private boat experiences and riverside accommodation stays. Its activities combine personalized boat tours with local lodging, focusing on leisure, nature, and small or private groups in the Douro Wine Region. - Your Responsibilities 1. River Experiences * Support for private Douro River tours * Guest reception and escort * Participation in experience preparation (sunset, leisure, group tours) * Ensure guests enjoy a safe and pleasant onboard experience * Simple communication with guests (PT/EN proficiency valued) 2. Local Accommodation * Preparation of accommodations between stays * Cleaning and organization of spaces * Ensuring comfort and meticulous presentation for new guests * Accommodation inspection prior to check-in 3.
