




Job Summary: We are seeking a quality control and laboratory professional for the food sector in Peñafiel, responsible for conducting analyses, monitoring hygiene plans, and participating in quality management systems. Key Responsibilities: 1. Quality control and laboratory work in the food sector. 2. Participation in HACCP systems and audits. 3. Laboratory management and development of procedures. In Peñafiel, for the food sector, we seek a professional for quality control and laboratory duties. Tasks include analysis of raw materials, production processes, and finished products; monitoring of hygiene and sanitation plans; verification of records; and identification of deviations to propose improvements. The role involves participation in HACCP systems, allergen management, and non-conformance handling, as well as support for internal and external audits. Additionally, the candidate will manage the laboratory, its equipment and documentation, and develop procedures and work instructions. Full-time position with split shifts, generally from 8:00 to 16:30 with a lunch break, offering flexible working hours. Initial temporary contract for two months, with potential for permanent employment thereafter. Immediate start required. Education in Food Science and Technology, Biology, Chemistry, Agri-Food Engineering, or a related field. Prior experience in laboratory and/or quality department functions is required, preferably within the food industry. Knowledge of quality management systems, HACCP, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and general food safety regulations is essential. Skills in developing, documenting, and implementing operational procedures are highly valued. Proficiency in office tools, particularly the Microsoft Office suite, is required. A working knowledge of English is considered advantageous but not mandatory. The ideal candidate is organized, analytically minded, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement in their work.
