Our core areas: ➡Quantitative Finance ➡Risk \& Compliance ➡Operations \& Finance ➡Transformation \& Organization ➡ Information Systems. **We are looking for an Application Production Support Engineer** **Context** You will join the IT P\&L Support team, ensuring the stability, availability, and performance of critical business applications used by Front Office (FO) and Middle Office (MO). This role is key to maintaining smooth trading operations by providing timely support and resolving application issues in a production environment. You will work closely with developers, infrastructure teams, and business users in a fast\-paced and collaborative environment. **Main Mission** To ensure the continuous availability and reliability of applications by managing incidents, supporting users, and proactively monitoring systems to prevent disruptions to business operations. **Main Responsibilities** * Manage and resolve application incidents and service requests within SLA * Troubleshoot issues and escalate when necessary to ensure quick resolution * Identify recurring issues and perform root cause analysis * Support and implement changes in application environments (change management) * Provide first\-level support to end\-users (FO/MO) * Monitor application performance and proactively detect potential issues * Perform maintenance tasks to ensure application stability and performance * Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to resolve complex issues * Participate in on\-call rotations for after\-hours support * Contribute to continuous improvement of support processes **Profile \& Skills** * Proven experience in Application Support or similar role * Strong problem\-solving and analytical skills * Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure * Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills * Client\-oriented mindset * Adaptability and proactive attitude * Interest in technology and production environments * English – Expert **Technical Skills** * Experience in application support within production environments * Knowledge of ITIL processes (incident, problem, change management) * Familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow) * Database knowledge (Microsoft SQL Server) * Monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Geneos) * Scheduling tools (Autosys, Crontab) * Scripting skills (Python, Shell, SQL, Perl) * Basic automation knowledge (PowerShell, Python) * Understanding of release and production processes **Nice to have** * Experience in financial services or trading environments * Knowledge of Front Office / Middle Office processes **Hybrid work model**, with presence required in **Porto office.** **If you feel this opportunity is right for you, send us your CV and join our team!** Localização do trabalho: Trabalho remoto híbrido em Porto
