The student will primarily focus on the photonic integration of machine learning (ML) methods, while also contributing to the development of ML algorithms. **Work Objectives:**

To ensure consistency between optical responses and ML model performance, the student will also contribute to WP3 (1\.8 person\-months) by supporting ML implementation activities informed by the optical outputs obtained in WP2\. Additionally, within WP2 (1 person\-month), the student will participate in the optical characterization of the photonic processor, enabling the interpretation of multi\-stimuli optical responses of the developed materials and ensuring their effective use within the ML framework. Overall, this integrated approach will ensure a seamless interaction between material characterization, photonic processing, and machine learning development, strengthening the technological coherence and scientific impact of the project.
