Then this opportunity is for you! **Position:** Oracle DBA **Location:** Brussels \- Hybrid Main responsibilities: * **Performance Optimization:** Apply compression techniques, perform query tuning, and guide developers on efficient SQL coding/indexing. * **Infrastructure Management:** Optimize resources for **ExaCC, ZFS, and ZDLRA** backup appliances; fine\-tune CPU allocations to minimize waste. * **Technical Leadership:** Lead migrations (e.g., Kerberos authentication), handle Oracle Client upgrades, and maintain technical documentation (runbooks, architecture diagrams). * **Mentoring:** Conduct knowledge\-sharing sessions and workshops to transfer expertise to the team. Mandatory requirements: * **Experience:** Proven track record as an Oracle DBA with expertise in performance tuning and resource optimization. * **Tech Stack:** Advanced **SQL and PL/SQL** skills. Familiarity with **ExaCC, ZFS, and ZDLRA** is a strong advantage. * **Security \& Upgrades:** Knowledge of **Kerberos authentication** and Oracle Client upgrades. * **Soft Skills:** Excellent communication and mentoring skills; proactive problem\-solving mindset focused on cost reduction.
