Integration into an innovative project and a growing team **We need you:** Metalworking Supervisor (M/F/X) The SMT Group continues to grow, and we are looking for an experienced Metalworking Supervisor to join our team. If you enjoy working on the factory floor, optimizing processes, and want to be part of an innovative modular construction project, this opportunity is for you. **Main Responsibilities:** \- Fabrication, assembly, and repair of metal structures; \- Execution of MIG/MAG welding; \- Leading, coordinating, and supervising multi-member work teams; \- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and measurements; \- Proper use of machines, tools, and equipment; \- Performing other tasks compatible with the role when requested; \- Strict adherence to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) best practices. **Profile / Requirements:** \- Minimum 5 years’ proven experience in metalworking, assembly, and MIG/MAG welding; \- Proven prior experience in a supervisory role; \- Solid knowledge of technical drawing interpretation; \- Organizational skills, ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines; \- Sense of responsibility, rigor, attention to detail, and autonomy; \- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively in a team; \- Proactivity and goal orientation; \- Valid driver’s license (mandatory); \- Valid Citizen Card or Residence Permit (mandatory); \- Residence in Caldas da Rainha or nearby municipalities (preferred). **Work Location:** Caldas da Rainha – 100% on-site. **We Offer:** \- Direct employment contract with a company within a rapidly growing group; \- Job stability and a positive work environment; \- Competitive salary commensurate with the role and demonstrated experience; \- Opportunities for professional development and growth within the SMT Group; \- Immediate start.
