About the Role We are seeking a Cybersecurity Technician with solid technical expertise and a strong sense of responsibility for information protection. The professional will be responsible for supporting the enhancement of the organization’s security posture, ensuring activities such as incident response, log analysis, threat detection, and implementation of security policies. This role involves close collaboration with IT and infrastructure teams to ensure continuous protection of digital assets and compliance with cybersecurity frameworks. Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in technology-related fields, specifically Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Information Systems and Technologies (or equivalent). * Minimum of 3 years’ professional experience in cybersecurity or similar roles. * Foundational knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems, cybersecurity, computer networks, and SIEM platforms. * Technical skills in Information Security and Ethical Hacking. * Experience in the following areas: * Application of incident response methodologies. * Real-time and deferred analysis of security logs. * Configuration and maintenance of data sources feeding the log monitoring and analysis system. * Development and maintenance of detection and alerting rules. * Use of incident documentation and querying procedures and tools. * Analysis and application of security policies and procedures. * Knowledge of international standards, protocols, and frameworks, including the National Cybersecurity Reference Framework. * Preferred certifications include: * CISSP – Certified Information Systems Security Professional * CompTIA Security+, Network+, or CySA+ * GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC) * CCNA Cyber Ops * Proficiency in Portuguese and English.
