(https://www.hychem.pt/pt ). As part of our growth strategy, we aim to strengthen our team by hiring: **1 Electrical Engineer (M/F)** **Póvoa de Santa Iria – Ref. EE_2025** **JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES** · Development of new electrical and automation projects, budgeting, and implementation oversight; · Study and development of technical improvements to the company’s electrical installations; · Fault detection and support in resolution, analysis of root causes, and study of possible modifications required to optimize the installation; · Oversight of preventive and corrective maintenance tasks related to electrical (LV and MV), pneumatic, and automation systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and procedures; · Software installation, programming, or configuration of new electrical equipment and instrumentation; · Research on new technologies, when replacing equipment, to ensure improved efficiency, effectiveness, and quality. **QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE** · Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electricity and automation; · 1–3 years of experience in industrial project/maintenance fields. **REQUIRED COMPETENCIES** · Organizational, planning, and rigorous mindset; · Sense of commitment and responsibility; · Ability and willingness to work collaboratively in a team; · Proficiency in interpreting and drafting electrical schematics, CAD knowledge; · Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools; · Interest in applying and developing expertise in the electrical and automation sector within an industrial environment.
