We operate the largest bookstore retail network in Portugal, with 60 bookstores across mainland Portugal and the islands, visited annually by over 10 million customers. Our online bookstore www.bertrand.pt offers the widest selection of books available in Portugal, including titles in English, French, and Spanish. With our Bertrand Readers at the heart of everything we do, we invest in service quality and specialization, as well as initial and continuous training for our employees. To strengthen our Commercial Directorate, we are seeking a Regional Manager reporting to the Commercial Director. The main responsibility will be the direct management of a group of geographically distributed bookstores across the country. **Key Responsibilities:** * Analyze, define, and implement strategy based on KPI analysis; * Daily monitoring and reporting; * Ensure correct product display; * Develop and implement commercial strategies and actions to achieve sales targets; * Manage administrative, human resources, and financial processes; * Store visits – develop an effective action plan to ensure store visits are conducted with strategic intent; * Opening new stores. **Profile:** * Higher education degree; * Professional experience in a similar role, preferably as a manager in the retail sector; * Proficiency in Excel; * Strong analytical skills and results orientation; * Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.
