Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Occupational Safety Technician, Level VI, to supervise safety on construction sites and ensure compliance with legislation. Key Highlights: 1. Occupational safety is a central requirement of our operations, particularly in construction site contexts. We are strengthening our team by hiring a Senior Occupational Safety Technician, Level VI, to ensure on-site safety supervision, working in direct coordination with the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Coordination team and production teams. Your responsibilities will include: \- Developing and implementing Safety and Health Plans (SHP) on construction sites \- Conducting regular visits to group construction sites for safety monitoring and inspection \- Identifying hazards, proposing preventive measures, and supervising their implementation \- Delivering safety awareness sessions and training to construction teams \- Investigating workplace accidents and near-misses, and preparing technical reports \- Ensuring compliance with occupational safety, hygiene, and health legislation applicable to the construction sector \- Direct coordination with Site Supervisors, Project Managers, and the OSH Coordination team What we require: \- Certification as a Senior Occupational Safety Technician, Level VI (mandatory) \- Prior experience on civil construction projects (eliminatory criterion — candidates without actual construction site experience will not be considered) \- Valid driver’s license and availability for regular travel to group construction sites \- Solid knowledge of occupational safety and health (OSH) legislation applicable to construction \- Ability to work on-site under tight deadlines and production pressure — this is not an office-based role \- Firm yet collaborative attitude: must be able to say "no" to production teams without causing paralyzing conflict We value: \- Experience within groups managing multiple construction sites simultaneously \- Additional training in construction site safety coordination (e.g., Safety Coordinator for Design/Construction Projects) \- Familiarity with digital safety reporting tools Please send your CV referencing "Senior Safety Technician Level VI — InovBuild" to: business@thinkwork.pt .
