Immerso Collective is recruiting an Agroforestry Operator to join two of our most inspiring projects — Ode Winery and Ode Farm & Living — located in Vila Chã de Ourique, Cartaxo.

Your Responsibilities
Care for and transform forested areas — woodlands, gardens, trails — through pruning, cutting, cleaning, and watering.
Actively participate in ecological regeneration, promoting stratification and natural succession.
Manage biomass responsibly, whether for on-site use or for chip production.
Monitor and treat pests and diseases, ensuring ecosystem health.
Plant, water, fertilize, and care for trees and plants, ensuring their healthy development.
Work with nurseries, transplant species, prepare soils, and monitor potted plants.
Maintain and operate forestry equipment (chainsaws, pruners, brush cutters, etc.) safely and carefully.
Comply with safety regulations and responsible environmental practices.
We Are Looking For Someone Who…
Has proven experience in forest regeneration, agroforestry, or similar roles.
Possesses solid knowledge of ecosystems, species, and reforestation techniques.
Brings aesthetic sensitivity and the ability to “read” the forest, collaborating with landscaping and gardening teams.
Is physically resilient and enjoys working outdoors.
Is autonomous, responsible, and capable of leading an agroforestry team in the future.
Is organized, detail-oriented, and committed to high quality standards.
Lives nearby or has easy daily commuting access.
