This will significantly increase your chances of success #### **About the Opportunity** In this role, you will contribute to the development and evolution of robust, scalable, and secure technology solutions using Java, Kotlin, relational databases, Kubernetes, and cloud technologies. This opportunity is ideal for experienced professionals with a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and the ability to contribute technically within Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC) environments. You will work with reactive architectures, cloud APIs, Microsoft Azure services, CI/CD pipeline automation, and code quality and security analysis tools. #### **Key Responsibilities** * Develop and enhance applications using Java and Kotlin. * Work with reactive architectures using Vert.x or equivalent reactive frameworks. * Develop solutions using Spring. * Design, develop, and integrate cloud APIs. * Work with PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server databases. * Support the deployment and maintenance of applications running on Kubernetes. * Participate in the design and evolution of CI/CD pipelines. * Apply Agile and DevOps practices throughout the software development lifecycle. * Ensure code quality and security using tools such as SonarQube and Checkmarx. * Apply Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC) principles. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary technical teams to design and deliver scalable, secure, and high\-quality solutions. #### **Mandatory Requirements (Screening Criteria)** * ️ **The following requirements are mandatory and must be clearly demonstrated in your CV:** * Strong software development experience with **Java and Kotlin**. * Hands\-on experience with **PostgreSQL** and **Microsoft SQL Server**. * Experience working with **Kubernetes**. * Practical knowledge and use of **SonarQube**. * Experience with **Vert.x**, another reactive framework, or **Spring**. * Strong understanding of software engineering processes and the software development lifecycle. * Experience working in **Agile** and **DevOps** environments. * Experience integrating and consuming **Cloud APIs**. * Experience building and maintaining **CI/CD pipelines**. * Familiarity with **Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC)** practices. * Knowledge of code quality and application security tools. * Portuguese and English proficiency at **B2 level or higher**. * Availability to work in a hybrid model in Lisbon, attending the office **two days per week**. * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. * Technical experience and maturity appropriate for a **Master\-level Software Engineer** position. #### **Nice to Have** * Experience with **Microsoft Azure**. * Hands\-on experience with **Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)**. * Experience with **Azure Batch**. * Experience with **Azure Storage**. * Experience building CI/CD pipelines using **Azure DevOps**. * Practical experience with **Checkmarx**. * Experience developing applications with **Angular**. * Experience with **C\+\+**. * Experience working in **reactive architectures** and **cloud\-native** environments. * Previous experience in projects requiring high standards of security, scalability, and code quality. #### **Ideal Candidate Profile** We are looking for a highly skilled professional with strong technical maturity who can work independently and contribute to architectural decisions, software quality, security, and continuous solution improvement.
