About the Role We are looking for a Data Governance Specialist with strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Purview and Sensitivity Labels, practical experience in DLP, and solid expertise across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. This role focuses on building a Copilot-ready classification taxonomy, configuring labels and auto-labeling, managing DLP policies, and documenting governance controls for security, compliance, legal, and business teams. Responsibilities Design and maintain a Copilot-ready classification taxonomy and implement it in Microsoft Purview. Configure and optimize Sensitivity Labels to control Copilot access and data extraction. Build and maintain auto-labeling policies for existing and new data. Define and manage DLP policies to protect sensitive and regulated information. Monitor and document governance controls using Purview Audit Logs and eDiscovery. Collaborate closely with IT Security, Compliance, Legal, and business stakeholders. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. 4+ years of experience in Data Governance. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Purview and Sensitivity Labels. Solid understanding of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem and practical DLP experience. A Master’s degree in Information Governance, Data Protection, or IT Security is preferred. **Relevant professional certifications (e.g.,** Microsoft Purview, Information Protection, DLP) are preferred and may substitute for academic qualifications.
