Responsibilities: Be prepared to undertake versatile and multifunctional tasks. Here, we are all ONE team, and teamwork is essential; Greet all guests and visitors warmly and courteously. Perform check-in and check-out procedures with focus and attention to all critical details of each process, especially documentation and payment. You are responsible for processing all guest bills, ensuring each account is properly closed and invoices are sent; Maintain control over hotel entrances and exits; Provide all necessary information and explanations regarding the hotel: breakfast and pool operating hours, elevator operation instructions, check-out time, and bar operating hours. Also provide guests with information about Lisbon, public transport operations, and assist them in booking dinners, tours, etc.; Assist the F&B team at the bar when required; Follow up with all guests attentively, showing genuine interest in their concerns and issues, and strive to resolve them; Operate the telephone system, receiving and placing internal and external calls. All call handling and communication—whether internal or external—must be conducted professionally and appropriately; Respond to reception emails; Attend to all guest requests and record all important information. Make reservations, whether walk-ins or future bookings; Adhere to the hotel’s internal safety regulations. Maximize enrollment of guests in the Marriott Bonvoy program and explain its benefits to guests.
