**WE’RE HIRING: ASSISTANT BAR MANAGER**
Nata Wine Bar is looking for an experienced, reliable and enthusiastic Assistant Bar Manager to join our team in Anjos, Lisbon.
This is a hands\-on role combining bar and floor service with team leadership and daily operational responsibilities. You will report directly to the Bar Manager and the Owner, helping lead shifts, support the wider team and maintain the warm, relaxed and knowledgeable hospitality Nata is known for.
**Responsibilities include:**
* Leading and organising the team during service
* Supporting the Bar Manager and Owner with daily operations
* Guiding guests through our natural wine selection
* Opening and closing the bar
* Managing payments, stock and deliveries
* Training and supporting team members
* Helping coordinate tastings, private events and pop\-ups
* Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
* Taking responsibility and making decisions when senior management is not present
Previous experience managing or supervising a hospitality team is essential. You should be confident leading a busy service, giving clear direction, handling challenges calmly and maintaining high standards across the bar and floor.
We are looking for someone who is warm, organised, proactive and dependable. You should be a natural team player who communicates clearly, notices what needs to be done and takes initiative without waiting to be asked. You will need to be approachable but confident, able to support the team while also holding people accountable.
A genuine interest in wine is important. Formal wine qualifications are welcome but not essential, as practical knowledge, curiosity and a willingness to keep learning matter most.
You must be available to work evenings, weekends and events.
