This will significantly increase your chances of success #### **About the Opportunity** You will join a cybersecurity project responsible for maintaining and administering perimeter security solutions based on Palo Alto and Fortinet technologies. The role involves supporting firewall environments, implementing security policies, troubleshooting incidents, and contributing to perimeter security projects. You will work in a structured hybrid environment and collaborate with technical and project stakeholders to ensure secure and reliable network operations. #### **Main Responsibilities** * Administer and maintain Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls. * Configure, review, and update firewall rules and security policies. * Monitor perimeter security infrastructure and firewall operations. * Analyze and troubleshoot network security incidents. * Investigate connectivity, access, and firewall\-related issues. * Support the implementation of perimeter security changes. * Participate in security infrastructure and project management activities. * Review logs and identify potential threats or anomalous behavior. * Document configurations, changes, incidents, and technical procedures. * Collaborate with infrastructure, network, security, and project teams. * Follow internal security standards and operational procedures. * Contribute to the stability, availability, and protection of corporate environments. #### **Mandatory Requirements** * At least 2 years of professional experience in perimeter or network security. * Hands\-on experience administering Palo Alto firewalls. * Hands\-on experience administering Fortinet firewalls. * Knowledge of firewall policies, rules, objects, and network security concepts. * Experience investigating and resolving firewall and connectivity issues. * Ability to work on\-site in Madrid three days per week. * Availability to work according to the established schedule. * Technical written English at B2 level. * Ability to join the project as soon as possible. * Good analytical, organizational, and problem\-solving skills. * Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and project teams. #### **Nice\-to\-Have Requirements** * Relevant Palo Alto or Fortinet certifications. * Experience with Panorama or FortiManager. * Knowledge of VPNs, NAT, routing, and network segmentation. * Experience analyzing firewall and security logs. * Familiarity with incident, change, and problem management processes. * Experience participating in cybersecurity or infrastructure projects. * Knowledge of security best practices and perimeter protection. * Familiarity with ITIL or structured service\-management environments. #### **The Ideal Candidate** The ideal candidate has at least two years of hands\-on experience administering Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls and can confidently manage security policies, analyze logs, implement changes, and troubleshoot network access issues. You are responsible, analytical, and organized, with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and project teams.
