Handle all payment types including room charges, cash, checks, debit cards, and credit cards. Process all check-outs, including resolution of late charges and disputes. Respond to, record, and process guest phone calls, messages, requests, questions, and concerns. Coordinate with housekeeping to monitor room readiness for check-in. Inform guests and visitors of parking procedures and dispatch bell or valet staff as needed. Provide guests with information and guidance regarding the hotel and local area. Prepare daily reports (arrivals, departures), verify special requests, and ensure report accuracy. Complete designated cashier and settlement reports in the computer system. Cash guest personal checks and traveler's checks. Count the bank at the beginning and end of each shift. Balance and reconcile receipts per accounting specifications. Comply with all company safety and security policies and procedures. Adhere to company policies and procedures. Ensure uniform and appearance are clean and professional. Welcome and express appreciation to all guests in accordance with company standards. Anticipate and address guest needs. Communicate clearly and professionally with others. Build and maintain positive relationships with others. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
