Opportunities for professional growth and career development **We are Hiring: Cost Controller** **Espressolab Portugal** **Lisbon, Portugal** **Full\-Time Position** Espressolab Portugal is looking for a highly motivated and detail\-oriented **Cost Controller** to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a professional with experience in cost control, inventory management, purchasing, invoicing, and operational reporting. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our stores, warehouse operations, and franchise network while helping to ensure the financial efficiency and operational excellence of the business. **Applicants must reside in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area.** **Key Responsibilities** **Cost Control \& Inventory Management** * Monitor compliance with company purchasing procedures. * Verify the accuracy of purchasing records, stock entries, and inventory movements. * Control and analyze costs related to stores, kitchens, and warehouse operations. * Identify and report unusual cost variations and inventory discrepancies. * Investigate stock differences and implement corrective actions. * Monitor price fluctuations of purchased materials and report significant changes. * Ensure proper product transfers between stores. * Conduct inventory counts and prepare detailed reports. **Operational Control** * Ensure the correct use of materials and products across all locations. * Maintain and monitor product recipes and costing data within company systems. * Track product sales performance and identify operational issues. * Manage daily warehouse stock movements. * Prepare monthly and annual cost analysis reports. **Invoicing \& Franchise Support** * Manage invoice entry, issuance, tracking, and documentation processes. * Coordinate invoicing activities with Accounting and Operations teams. * Prepare and issue sales invoices for franchise locations. * Monitor franchise receivables, invoice records, and payment statuses. * Ensure all invoicing and documentation processes comply with company policies and procedures. **Training \& Reporting** * Provide inventory management, order management, and system training to Store Managers. * Prepare inventory variance reports and support internal audits. * Assist management with pricing analysis and profitability reporting. **Candidate Profile** * Previous experience in Cost Control, Inventory Management, Accounting, Finance, or Operations. * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. * Experience with ERP, POS, or inventory management systems. * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills. * Excellent organizational and reporting capabilities. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy. * Effective communication and interpersonal skills. * Experience within hospitality, food \& beverage, retail, or franchise operations is highly desirable. * Fluency in both English and Portuguese. * Must reside in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area. **What We Offer** * Full\-time employment with a rapidly growing international brand. * Hybrid working model combining office and remote work. * Dynamic and entrepreneurial work environment. * Opportunities for professional growth and career development. * The chance to play a key role in the expansion of Espressolab Portugal. **How to Apply** Interested candidates should send their CV and a brief introduction to: **ricardo@espressolab.com** Please use **"Cost Controller Application"** as the subject line. **Ricardo de Meyrelles** Operations Manager Espressolab Portugal Localização do trabalho: Presencial
