Repair and manufacturing of components for rolling stock A leading company specializing in heavy equipment maintenance and environmental solutions is currently recruiting a **Mechanical Fitter** to reinforce its team at the Polima (Cascais) facility, with immediate start. If you have relevant experience, high technical precision, and are seeking a stable project within an established company, this could be the ideal opportunity for you. **Responsibilities** * Perform repair and manufacturing tasks for components of rolling stock, including heavy and light vehicles, superstructures, and industrial machinery; * Operate metalworking tools and equipment with accuracy and safety; * Carry out welding, cutting, and other related technical operations; * Ensure maintenance, organization, and preservation of workshop materials, tools, and equipment; * Perform other duties related to the role as required. **Requirements** * Minimum 2 years’ experience as a mechanical fitter; * Solid knowledge of welding and cutting techniques; * Good knowledge of hydraulics; * Experience with environmental sector equipment (valued); * Basic knowledge of sheet metal work and painting (preferred); * Strong sense of responsibility, organizational skills, and enthusiasm for teamwork; * Full and immediate availability. **Conditions** * Employment contract; * Remuneration commensurate with experience and demonstrated competencies; * Integration into an experienced team with a stable and collaborative technical environment; * Work location: Polima (Cascais).
