Collaborate with operational, procurement, and management departments for continuous improvement **Maintenance Coordinator (M/F)** Blueotter Group, a leading company in the waste management sector, is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to strengthen its Maintenance Team. This role will be responsible for ensuring the planning, execution, and control of preventive and corrective maintenance activities for equipment, machinery, and fleet, guaranteeing operational efficiency, adherence to deadlines, and cost control. We seek a candidate with experience in industrial maintenance or similar fields, team coordination capability, and a strong orientation toward organization, quality, and goal achievement. **Main Responsibilities:** **Maintenance Coordination and Management** * Plan, monitor, and evaluate preventive and corrective maintenance processes * Coordinate internal maintenance teams and ensure proper resource allocation * Ensure interventions are carried out with quality and within defined deadlines **Supplier and Procurement Management** * Conduct market research and analyze supplier proposals for infrastructure services * Award external maintenance service contracts * Process purchase requests for necessary materials and equipment * Validate incoming orders quantitatively and qualitatively **Operational Planning and Control** * Monitor timelines, costs, and performance of maintenance activities * Ensure consistency between budget and execution * Monitor legal requirements and equipment validity periods **Internal Collaboration and Continuous Improvement** * Collaborate with operational, procurement, and management departments * Ensure knowledge sharing and integration of new employees * Contribute to continuous improvement of maintenance processes **Desired Profile:** **Education** * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field **Professional Experience** * Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance or similar roles **Technical Knowledge** * Knowledge of equipment, machinery, and fleet maintenance * Understanding of supplier management and cost control * Proficiency in user-level computer applications **Behavioral Competencies** * Ability to coordinate and organize * Rigor, sense of responsibility, and attention to detail * Problem-solving ability and responsiveness under pressure * Assertive communication and strong interpersonal skills * Results-oriented mindset and commitment to meeting deadlines * Integrity, discretion, and respect for confidentiality **Additional Requirements:** * Availability for occasional travel * Residence in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area **What We Value:** * Experience in demanding operational environments * On-site coordination capability and interaction with multiple stakeholders * Proactivity, autonomy, and focus on continuous improvement **This job opportunity is open to candidates of all genders
