We are looking for a talented, energetic, and passionate **Barista** to join our team at Farès and create special moments for our visitors. **Responsibilities:** * **Masterful preparation:** Brew specialty coffees and hot or cold beverages following recipes and quality standards, with technique, consistency, and creativity. * **Delight through service:** Interact with customers warmly and attentively, accurately take orders, and ensure fast, accurate, and energetic service. * **Personalize the experience:** Understand customer preferences and make thoughtful, enthusiastic suggestions, promoting the coffee menu and other beverages. * **Support the menu:** Collaborate on developing new drinks, explore different brewing methods, and contribute ideas for new offerings and seasonal editions. * **Organization is key:** Keep the coffee station clean, fully stocked, and fully functional throughout your shift. * **Strict adherence to standards:** Comply fully with all food safety and hygiene requirements (HACCP). * **Stock management like a pro:** Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies, minimizing waste and ensuring nothing runs out. * **Deliver a memorable experience:** Be proactive and attentive, making our customers feel welcome and valued. **What we’re looking for in you:** * Minimum 2 years’ experience as a barista. * Solid knowledge of coffee extraction methods, latte art, and beverage preparation techniques. * Passion for hospitality, attention to detail, and a desire to positively surprise others. * Team spirit, strong communication skills, and stress resilience. * Responsibility and initiative—we value those who identify needs and act accordingly. * Knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations (HACCP certification preferred). * Strong proficiency in Portuguese and English. * Availability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays. **What you’ll love about working here:** At Vida Plena, you’re not just taking on a role—you’re joining a community that values joy, respect, and the collective pursuit of excellence.
