**Introduction to Improv Theatre** Step into the world of improv, where every scene is unique and unscripted! These sessions are open to everyone—whether you’re a regular participant or trying improv for the first time. Your contribution helps keep these sessions open and accessible to all. We suggest a minimum of €5, but please give whatever you can. Preferably, transfer via MBWay. If that’s not possible, at the end you’ll see the host holding a red bag for contributions. To help everyone feel safe, comfortable, and welcome just as they are, we ask all participants to keep these guidelines in mind: * Everyone is welcome: It doesn’t matter who you are or whether you have experience. We’re all here to have fun and enjoy improv! * Be kind: We all share a space to laugh and learn. Be friendly, supportive, and respectful toward the people you share the stage with. * Respect boundaries: Improv is built on the principle of “Yes, and…”, but we understand boundaries must be respected. If, at any point, you feel uncomfortable during a scene, feel free to say “No” or use any other clear signal. Your comfort and well-being are our top priority—and we’ll ensure the scene continues smoothly. * Physicality: If a scene requires physical movement (e.g., kneeling, standing for long periods, etc.) and that doesn’t feel right for you, you don’t need to do it—in fact, please don’t! If you have questions about this, don’t hesitate to ask. * Physical contact and personal space: Physical contact may occur in scenes, but it must always remain within respectful and comfortable limits. Touch should be “appropriate for an office environment.” If you’re unsure, don’t initiate physical contact. Also, don’t grab anyone! Everyone’s personal space matters! * Clothing guidelines: If you choose to remove any clothing item during a scene, make sure it’s your “improv clothing” (think imaginary clothes—not your actual shirt!). Always maintain respect, and remember we’re here to support and create—not to make anyone feel uncomfortable. Wondering what to wear? We recommend something comfortable that doesn’t restrict movement. Above all: let’s have fun! Improv is about creating, discovering, and supporting each other.
