The role focuses on backend systems used at scale, working within a collaborative engineering team. This position is suitable for developers with solid experience in Java who enjoy working on performance, integrations, and system reliability. **Key Responsibilities** * Develop and maintain backend services and applications * Work on system improvements, performance, and scalability * Collaborate with other developers and technical teams * Integrate external APIs and third\-party systems * Support deployments, debugging, and system monitoring **Requirements** * 3\+ years of experience with Java * Experience with Spring framework * Good knowledge of SQL and databases * Understanding of multithreading and backend concepts * Experience working with APIs and integrations * Portuguese (basic) and English (intermediate) required **Nice to have** * Experience with high\-traffic platforms * Familiarity with scalable architectures **Offer** * Salary up to €65,000 gross/year (14 months) * Hybrid working model (Lisbon) * Health insurance and additional benefits * International team environment * Career growth opportunities **Relocation** * Open to candidates willing to relocate to Lisbon, Portugal * No visa sponsorship If you are interested, feel free to apply or send your CV.
