Independent or team-based preparation of opinions and projects of varying complexity, and execution of other general or specialized support activities within common, instrumental, and operational areas of agencies and services. Functions performed with technical responsibility and autonomy, albeit under qualified higher-level supervision. Representation of the agency or service in matters related to one’s area of expertise, making technically oriented decisions aligned with directives or guidelines issued by higher authorities.” Specific description of duties: operationalization of competences delegated to the CIMRC, particularly in tourism and culture: promoting coordination with local stakeholders regarding regional development policies implemented by the CIM-RC; fostering inter-municipal cooperation and ensuring articulation among institutions of the State’s direct and indirect administration, local authorities, and equivalent entities, thereby contributing to integration of the sub-regional space and strengthening its internal and external competitiveness based on sustainable development strategies at sub-regional and local levels; supporting and participating in the promotion of the community’s tourism offerings in domestic and international markets, and collaborating with tourism sector bodies; ensuring implementation of the inter-municipal tourism network of the Coimbra Region, including outreach to associated municipalities; organizing and participating in seminars, colloquia, and other events relevant to the CIM-RC and associated municipalities; establishing inter-municipal networks for information sharing and reinforcing inter-municipal capacities and competences; performing study, planning, and technical management functions for national and community programs, applications, and projects featuring inter-municipal or sub-regional integration related to tourism and culture; preparing reports, opinions, projects, and activities leading to definition of the inter-municipal community’s policies in tourism and culture; managing projects integrated into sub-regional development strategies in tourism and culture; organizing project-related procedures according to established rules and regulations, including applicable adaptations and specificities; developing and monitoring implementation of projects promoting and enhancing natural heritage, cycling, and walking; developing and monitoring implementation of projects promoting and enhancing cultural heritage; developing cultural programming and development projects, as well as projects promoting integrated tourism products.
