Job Summary: The Logistics Technician will perform various logistics operations and provide departmental support, including contracting and monitoring freight transportation, and preparing export documentation. Our core business is the development, manufacturing, and installation of high-quality racking systems for storing palletized goods or items of other dimensions, as well as mezzanine structures. **Location:** Ovar , Portugal **Job Description** ------------------- As a Logistics Technician, you will carry out various logistics-related tasks and provide departmental support. **Main Responsibilities:** * Contract national and international freight transportation via TMS or direct contact with carriers. * Monitor the status of contracted transportation, including confirming unloading at customer sites and at the factory. * Issue and receive purchase orders for transportation services contracted for the factory, and verify corresponding invoices (when required/requested). * Maintain digital archives of CMRs from the Ovar factory and other group facilities. * Prepare export documentation (delivery notes, packing lists, etc.). * Assist in calculating departmental KPIs. **Qualifications** ------------------ * Minimum 3 years of experience in similar roles. * Proficiency in ERPs (SAP or InforLN are preferred) and Office365 tools (MS Outlook, Excel, Teams, etc.). * Resilience and attention to detail. * Proficiency in English, both verbal and written. * Resident in Ovar or neighboring areas. **Additional information** -------------------------- **What can we offer you?** * Supportive guidance and a positive working environment. * Valid experience in maintenance management
