Machine maintenance **Mission** ---------- Develop CNC machine programs, select and prepare the most suitable tools for execution, adjustment, and operation of machines, and conduct dimensional inspection of parts. **Job Description** ----------------------- * Develop CNC machine programs; * Select and prepare the most suitable tools for execution, adjustment, and operation of machines, and for dimensional inspection of parts; * Analyze drawings, sketches, and other technical specifications to identify part shapes, dimensions, tolerances, machine setup parameters, tooling, and other data relevant to the work to be performed; * Operate cutting and bending machines; * Perform dimensional, geometric, surface condition, and other inspections of parts using appropriate measuring instruments, comparing results with data in drawings and other technical specifications; * Clean and maintain machines, including routine lubrication, oil level checks, and oil replenishment; * Mechanical handling of loads (if certified); * Storage of metal sheets; * Identify non-conformities and report them to the section supervisor; * Comply with and/or ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and occupational safety rules and best practices; * Comply with and/or ensure compliance with environmental rules and best practices. **Profile** ---------- * Technical/vocational qualification in CNC Machine Operator/Programmer or equivalent; * Knowledge of metalworking and sheet metal fabrication (preferred); * Experience in bending thin-sheet materials (preferred); * Knowledge of lathe operation is an advantage.
