Focus on safety, cost-effectiveness, and deadlines **Industrial Logistics Technician** **M/F** **Águeda** The Industrial Logistics Technician will define and execute the planning, coordination, and supervision of the company’s transportation and logistics activities, ensuring efficiency in the movement of materials, products, and personnel, with emphasis on safety, cost\-effectiveness, and deadline compliance. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Develop transportation routes and schedules according to production and dispatch requirements. * Optimize fleet utilization and logistics resources. * Supervise drivers and logistics support staff. * Conduct training, evaluations, and promote continuous team improvement. * Consult maintenance suppliers regarding pricing and materials. * Place orders for maintenance materials. * Monitor delivery timelines for maintenance materials. * Manage billing documentation for purchased materials. * Manage inventory of maintenance components. * Ensure compliance with safety and conduct regulations. * Monitor vehicle usage, fuel consumption, maintenance, and documentation. * Respond promptly and accurately to internal customer requests. * Resolve transportation incidents and non-conformities. * Ensure compliance with traffic, environmental, and occupational safety regulations. * Guarantee proper use of PPE and preventive fleet maintenance. * Prepare incident reports and propose corrective actions. **CANDIDATE PROFILE** **E****ducation****:** * Preferred qualification: Logistics Technician (Level 4\) or equivalent. **Experience:*** Proven experience in logistics and transportation management. * Experience in a similar role within industrial companies. * Knowledge of logistics management systems (ERP, TMS). **Personal Competencies:** * Communication, interpersonal, and conflict management skills; * Planning, organizational, flexible, dynamic, and proactive capabilities; * Punctuality and sense of commitment. **We are the ASSA ABLOY Group** Our people have made us the global leader in access solutions.
