We are seeking a Backend Developer (m/f) to work at our headquarters in Esmoriz. Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain backend functionalities of our applications; * Create and evolve APIs for consumption by frontend applications and external integrations; * Ensure quality, performance, and scalability of implemented solutions; * Identify and fix bugs and technical issues; * Collaborate with the frontend team in defining and integrating endpoints; * Contribute to improving architecture and code organization; * Participate in defining best development practices; * Manage code versions and collaborate via Git. Requirements: * 3–5 years of backend development experience; * Solid experience with PHP (7 or later); * Experience with Laravel (or similar MVC frameworks); * Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP); * Experience with MySQL or MariaDB; * Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs; * Experience with Git (GitHub or similar); * Ability to write clean, structured, and easily maintainable code. We value: * Experience integrating external systems and third-party APIs; * Knowledge of Redis or other caching mechanisms; * Experience with Node.js; * Experience with automated testing (PHPUnit / TDD); * Familiarity with performance practices and optimization; * Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
