Job Summary: We are seeking a Cost Engineer to perform cost analysis and prepare client proposals, with a focus on optimization and cross-departmental collaboration. Key Highlights: 1. Identification of cost optimization opportunities We are a Portuguese Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) company located in Aveiro, and we are expanding our team by hiring a Cost Engineer to support cost analysis and proposal preparation for domestic and international clients. We also welcome junior candidates with strong analytical skills and interest in the electronics industry. Main Responsibilities: · Analyze BOM (Bill of Materials) and technical documentation for new products · Calculate production costs based on electronic components, PCBs, processes, and labor · Prepare budgets and commercial proposals for clients · Collaborate with Procurement, Engineering, and Production departments to obtain cost data and process times · Identify cost optimization opportunities and alternative component options · Support the sales team in developing technical and financial proposals Requirements: · Degree in Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field · Experience in an industrial environment · Knowledge of BOMs, electronic components, and SMT/THT assembly processes · Proficiency in Excel and ERP/MRP systems · Strong analytical ability and attention to detail · Good command of English Preferred Qualifications: · Experience in industrial budgeting or product costing · Experience in analyzing production times and manufacturing costs Apply by sending an email to recursoshumanos@uartronica.com, attaching your CV.
