We are a leading industry in the development and production of thermoplastic piping systems and we aim to strengthen our team by hiring: **PROCESS ENGINEER** (m/f) **Polymer Extrusion** **Albergaria\-a\-Velha** **The professional will have the following responsibilities:** * Develop and optimize extrusion operational parameters (temperature, pressure, screw speed, cooling rate, etc); * Monitor polymer and additive formulation and composition tests; * Monitor production line performance and propose technical improvements; * Ensure compliance with ISO, ASTM and environmental regulations; * Prepare technical documentation for processes and procedures; * Ensure process standardization; * Provide technical support to production and maintenance teams. **We are looking for someone with:** * Bachelor’s or higher degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related fields; * Minimum of 3 years of experience in polymer extrusion processes; * Solid knowledge in rheology, thermodynamics and tool design; * Proficiency in process analysis tools and statistical quality control; * Knowledge of industrial automation systems and process control (advantageous); * Fluency in English (advantageous).
