#### **(Stellen\-ID: 2335\)** #### **Role description:** As an **Electronics Development Engineer**, you will play a key role in designing and developing hardware solutions for test and measurement platforms. Your responsibilities will range from hands\-on PCB design, prototyping, and debugging to cross\-functional collaboration and compliance with industry standards \- all aimed at delivering reliable products, supporting calibration workflows, and driving innovation in electronic system development. * **Hardware Design \& Development:** Design, develop, and maintain multilayer PCB schematics and layouts for test and measurement platforms. * **Electronic component selection and evaluation:** Analyze datasheets, evaluate lifecycle status, and propose suitable alternatives or replacements. * **Prototyping \& Debugging:** Assemble and rework SMD\-based PCBs, perform manual soldering and reflow processes, and debug hardware prototypes. * **Documentation:** Create and maintain technical documentation including BOMs, PCB layout guidelines, calibration standards, and test procedures. * **Performance Optimization:** Monitor and improve hardware and system performance, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. * **Cross\-functional Collaboration:** Work closely with R\&D, QA, Production, and Procurement teams to define testing requirements and integrate hardware/software solutions. * **On\-site Support:** Provide support for software development, calibration systems, and real\-time troubleshooting on the production floor. * **Compliance \& Standards:** Ensure adherence to internal and external standards including EMC, RoHS, electrical safety, and measurement accuracy. * **Design for Test \& Manufacturing:** Support DFT and DFM practices during hardware development. * **Tool Management:** Maintain component libraries and version\-controlled design files using tools like Altium Designer. #### **What we offer:** * A challenging and varied role in a forward\-looking company. * The opportunity to significantly shape the establishment and development of a new facility. * An international working environment with flat hierarchies and short decision\-making paths. * Attractive remuneration and extensive social benefits. #### **Your profile:** * **Educational Requirements:** Degree in Electronics Engineering or similar field * **Work Experience:** 3\+ years of experience in similar projects and environments * **Technical Skills:** Experience with measurement systems, instrumentation, or calibration processes is preferred. Proficiency in design tools such as Altium Designer. Familiarity with OrCAD X or KiCad is a plus. * **Language skills:** Fluent in English and Portuguese; German is a plus * **Personal Attributes:** Conscientious and detail\-oriented. Analytical thinker with strong problem\-solving skills. Resilient under pressure and adaptable to changing environments.
