Integration into the Industrial Projects team ##### **Job Description** The BASI Laboratories \- Pharmaceutical Industry, located in Mortágua, are a reference company in their field of activity, with over 50 years of history. They are currently looking to strengthen their Industrial Projects team with: Process Engineering Technician RESPONSIBILITIES: * Measure and analyze production line performance based on KPIs, productivity rates, downtime, and other metrics; * Develop and maintain a system of continuous, tangible performance indicators; * Identify and propose solutions for critical points or inefficiencies in the production process, suggesting corrective or preventive actions; * Ensure production lines comply with required quality and safety standards set by regulations; * Evaluate production costs and suggest improvements to optimize processes and reduce waste; * Prepare performance reports for senior management, highlighting strengths and areas for improvement; * Train production teams on best practices, process optimization, and efficient equipment usage. ##### **Candidate Profile** * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in: Industrial Engineering and Management, Production Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related fields; \- 3–4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or another industry \- preferably in production line management, process engineering, or quality; * Knowledge of production processes and continuous improvement; * Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing tools, Six Sigma, Kaizen, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), or SMED (Single-Minute Exchange of Die); * Proficiency in English (spoken and written); * Team spirit, critical thinking, resilience, and proactivity are essential personal attributes.
