PLASTROFA – Plásticos da Trofa, S.A., located in the Porto district and engaged in the manufacturing and distribution of flexible plastic packaging, is recruiting a new employee for the position of **Shift Supervisor \- Plastic Industry.**
**Job Mission:**
Coordinate production execution during the shift and ensure operational team performance in accordance with established policies and procedures, guaranteeing compliance with the production plan and with quality, safety, and productivity standards.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Coordinate and supervise assigned shift production;
* Ensure adherence to the production plan, monitor potential deviations, and implement necessary operational adjustments;
* Supervise various stages of the production process, identifying incidents or non-conformities;
* Ensure proper material supply to machines;
* Support and guide operators in resolving operational anomalies;
* Organize break periods, staff substitutions, and absences, ensuring operational continuity;
* Record and report shift data, ensuring seamless information handover to the next shift;
* Support onboarding of new employees, ensuring initial training and workplace mentoring;
* Ensure compliance with quality, safety, organization, and cleanliness standards (ISO 9001 and BRC);
* Lead, train, and motivate the team, fostering a collaborative work environment and continuous employee development.
**Profile:**
* Higher education degree in **Industrial Management, Mechatronics**, or related fields;
* Minimum **5 years of industrial experience**;
* Experience in the **plastic industry** (extrusion, printing, cutting, laminating, and rewinding);
* Experience coordinating production teams under shift-based operations;
* Proficiency in end-user computer applications;
* Leadership and team management capabilities;
* Strong results orientation;
* Good communication and problem-solving skills;
* Preferred residence between Porto and Braga.
