Job Title: Salesperson / Sales Consultant
**Job Summary:**
Responsible for prospecting, customer service, sales negotiation, and closing deals for products or services, aiming to achieve established targets, ensure customer satisfaction, and maintain post-sales relationships in accordance with the company’s commercial policies and strategies.
Main Responsibilities and Functions:
1\. Customer Prospecting and Acquisition:
* **Identify and qualify leads** (potential customers) through internal lists, referrals, social media, on-site visits, phone calls, or email.
* **Conduct proactive outreach** (cold calling, unannounced visits, WhatsApp/social media contact) courteously and respectfully.
* **Participate in trade fairs, events, and promotional activities** to generate new contacts.
* **Maintain an updated customer database** (CRM – Customer Relationship Management).
2\. Customer Service:
* **Welcome customers at the store, showroom, or point of sale** with friendliness, professional demeanor, and appropriate personal presentation.
* **Identify customer needs, desires, objections, and purchasing profile** through open-ended questions and active listening.
* **Present products/services**, highlighting benefits, differentiators, warranties, payment options, and special conditions.
* **Offer bundles, upsell** (higher-value products), and **cross-sell** (complementary products).
* **Demonstrate products** (test drives, samples, tastings, simulations) where applicable.
3\. Negotiation and Closing:
* **Negotiate prices, delivery timelines, discounts, gifts, or special terms**, within limits authorized by the company.
* **Overcome objections** ethically and persuasively (e.g., "It’s too expensive," "I’ll think about it," "I need to discuss with my spouse").
* **Apply closing techniques** (direct close, alternative close, summary close, controlled urgency).
* **Issue orders, contracts, invoices, or receipts**, as per commercial procedures.
* **Receive payments** (cash, card, PIX, bank slip, vouchers) and operate card machines (if applicable).
4\. After-Sales Support and Relationship Management:
* **Conduct follow-up** (subsequent contact) to confirm satisfaction, deliver documentation, clarify doubts, or offer new products.
* **Resolve complaints, exchanges, returns, or issues** promptly and empathetically, escalating to responsible departments (logistics, quality assurance, customer service).
* **Maintain ongoing relationships** with existing customers to foster loyalty and repeat purchases.
* **Request referrals** and positive reviews (online or testimonials).
5\. Goal and Performance Management:
* **Achieve monthly, quarterly, or annual targets** for revenue, number of sales, average transaction value, conversion rate, or profit margin.
* **Monitor performance metrics** (conversion rate, service time, return on investment).
* **Manage your own sales pipeline** (lead → contact → proposal → negotiation → closing).
* **Report results to management** via spreadsheets, reports, or periodic meetings.
6\. Organization and Administration:
* **Keep the point of sale organized** (products displayed, visible price tags, available samples, promotional materials).
* **Monitor basic inventory** (request restocking, set aside reserved items, remove damaged goods).
* **Complete visit reports, external sales route plans, commission tracking, or pro-labore records.**
* **Organize external visit schedules** (if an outside salesperson), optimizing routes and time.
7\. Knowledge and Market Updates:
* **Thoroughly study the company’s products/services** (technical specifications, benefits, competitive advantages).
* **Track product launches, promotions, campaigns, and pricing changes.**
* **Monitor competitors** (prices, terms, new products) and report findings to management.
* **Attend training sessions** on sales techniques, negotiation, customer service, and internal systems.

Compensation: €5,400.00 – €6,200.00 per month
