What will your day-to-day look like at Glintt Next? * Actively participate in data architecture decisions, contributing to the selection of technologies and standards tailored to each use case. * Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines supporting mission-critical business solutions. * Integrate data from relational databases, REST APIs, files, external systems, and real-time events. * Implement ETL/ELT processes in Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and/or Lakehouse environments, across multi-cloud and on-premises infrastructures. * Develop, maintain, and evolve batch data pipelines using Databricks/Spark or equivalent distributed frameworks. * Implement real-time or near real-time data pipelines using technologies such as Apache Kafka or Apache Flink. * Orchestrate data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Airflow, Prefect, Dagster, or equivalent tools, ensuring reliability and automation. * Collaborate closely with BI and Data Science/ML teams to support data consumption via dashboards, ad-hoc exploration, and Machine Learning models. * Prepare data for GenAI/RAG use cases, including collection, cleaning, chunking, embedding generation, and loading into vector databases. * Work with feature stores and/or design reusable features for model consumption. What do we think you need? * Higher education degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields. * Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Data Engineer, with end-to-end responsibility. * Strong SQL and Python skills, with hands-on experience developing data pipelines. * Experience with visual ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory) and custom approaches (e.g., Python/Databricks). * Experience with or exposure to real-time data architectures (e.g., Kafka, Event Hubs, Flink, or Spark Streaming). * Experience in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud), ideally with Data Lake / Data Warehouse / Lakehouse architectures. * Knowledge of end-to-end data architecture—from source integration to data availability for dashboards, queries, and ML models. * Solid understanding of Data Warehousing and Data Lakehouse methodologies and architectures. * Focus on delivering high-quality solutions aligned with business stakeholders’ needs. * Familiarity with DevOps methodologies (e.g., GitHub/GitHub Actions or similar) and Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform or similar) is a plus.
