Prepared ingredients for cooking, including portioning, cutting, and storing food items. Washed and peeled fresh fruits and vegetables. Measured, weighed, and mixed ingredients. Prepared and cooked food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklists. Prepared cold food items. Operated ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers. Tested food to ensure proper doneness. Monitored food quality during preparation. Prepared and cleaned food work areas. Portioned and served food in appropriate containers and quantities. Cleaned and sanitized kitchen areas, tables, utensils, knives, and equipment. Verified and confirmed correct temperatures of appliances and food.
Complied with all company, safety, and security policies and procedures; reported maintenance and repair needs, incidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to management; completed safety training and certifications. Maintained a neat and professional uniform and personal appearance. Protected confidential information and company assets. Communicated with others using clear and professional language.
