Together with a close-knit team, you will work from **Portugal.** You ensure that **machines, equipment and facilities** at each site under your responsibility operate **optimally** and continue to function **without interference**. This includes **preventive maintenance and the quick and efficient resolution of mechanical and electrical faults**. **What tasks will you perform?** * Independently carry out **preventive and corrective maintenance** (limited mechanical and electrical) on all machinery at each site. * Detect and correct technical faults **quickly and efficiently**. * Ensure all work complies with applicable **safety and quality standards**. * **Prevent** machine downtime and quickly and efficiently resolve breakdowns in case of potential downtime. * **Maintain maintenance and breakdown reports** to gain insights into machine usage and identify potential areas for improvement. * **Support the installation and commissioning of new machines and equipment**, including adjustments and operational testing. * **Check inventory of spare parts**, **materials and submit orders** in a timely manner if necessary. Alert on critical components. * Provide **technical support** and cooperate with operators to ensure proper use and basic maintenance of machines. * **Monitor technical innovations and implement improvements** in maintenance processes as needed. * Promote a **safe working environment**. * Provide **support** and contribute to the organization's sustainable corporate values. **Who are we looking for?** **Qualifications:** * Minimum **post-secondary education in technical management** or equivalent through **experience**. * Extensive experience in **industrial mechanical and electrical maintenance**. * Experience in the **manufacturing industry**. * Forklift driving **certification**, or willingness to become proficient during employment. * **Aerial work platform certification**, or willingness to become proficient during employment. * '**Electrical Qualification – Low Voltage**' certificate. * "**Instructed Person**" certificate (safety training, basic electrical knowledge, supervised work/procedures). **Skills:** * You are **practical** and ensure optimal use of time. * Proficiency in **Portuguese, English (and French)**.
