This is what makes Konecranes a unique place to work.* Job Description We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Service Technician to join our team in Seixal, Portugal. As a Field Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing equipment at customer sites, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. * Perform on\-site installation, maintenance, and repair of various equipment as per assigned field service jobs and maintenance schedules * Conduct thorough equipment testing and failure analysis to improve and stabilise equipment performance * Complete and submit detailed service reports in a timely manner for proper documentation and analysis * Maintain allocated service tools and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in accordance with required EHS standards and company policies * Upkeep service facilities and vehicles according to 5S standards, recommending repairs and servicing when necessary * Participate in periodic service and safety training to stay updated on product knowledge and meet industry EHS statutory requirements * Adhere to EHS procedures and standards whilst carrying out field activities * Provide excellent customer service, addressing client concerns and explaining technical issues in a clear, understandable manner * Travel to customer sites within the local area as required Qualifications * Certificate or Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field * Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar field service role * Proven experience in equipment testing, maintenance, and repair * Strong knowledge of EHS standards and procedures, including ISO 14001 \& 45001 standards * Excellent problem\-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non\-technical audiences * Detail\-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and quality in all tasks * Proficiency in using computerised maintenance management systems and preparing service reports * Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within the local area * Physical ability to lift and carry equipment, climb ladders, and work in various environmental conditions * Flexibility to work outside normal business hours when required * Goal\-oriented mindset with a commitment to meeting service targets and ensuring customer satisfaction Additional Information ***Konecranes moves what matters****.
