Job Summary: We are seeking an AI Manager / Programmer to ensure the evolutionary maintenance, integration, and technical operationalization of the company's platforms, combining technological development with AI. Support digital transformation and adoption of AI tools The **CFF Group** is a Portuguese strategic management group in the food service industry, with centralized operations in **Lavra, Matosinhos**, and a structured commitment to digitizing its administrative, financial, and operational processes. As part of this evolution, it is developing a foundational Artificial Intelligence project, serving as a starting point for a broader digital transformation agenda. To strengthen this area, the group seeks to recruit an **AI Manager / Programmer**. **Role Mission** Ensure the evolutionary maintenance, integration, and technical operationalization of the company's technological platforms. This role combines technological development with AI operationalization, acting as the primary internal technical reference for digitalization initiatives. **Key Responsibilities** * Provide technical oversight of platform development in coordination with external partners * Validate code, architecture, and integrations * Operationalize and train OCR systems for automated document reading * Build, maintain, and optimize operational dashboards and automated alerts * Ensure security policies, encryption, access control, and cybersecurity * Document implemented solutions technically * Explore and implement use cases of Artificial Intelligence, both generative and classical * Evaluate, integrate, and operate APIs of language models and other AI tools * Support the internal team in the productive adoption of various AI tools * Develop small internal applications and scripts, and collaborate on other priority technology projects **Required Profile** * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or equivalent fields * Strong programming skills in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript * Familiarity with REST APIs and data exchange formats such as JSON, CSV, and XML * Knowledge of relational databases and familiarity with non-relational databases * Understanding of applied AI principles, including OCR, natural language processing, and integration with language model APIs * Strong communication skills in Portuguese * Proactive, self-taught, structured, and problem-solving oriented profile * Experience with web frameworks, cloud platforms, automation, data visualization, or AI API integration will be valued **Work Location** * CFF Group headquarters in Lavra, Matosinhos **Application** If you wish to join a project with a strong technical component and contribute to the company’s technological evolution, please submit your application.
