




Job Summary: We are recruiting a Quantity Surveyor / Budget Estimator to perform quantity measurement and prepare detailed budgets for construction and manufacturing projects, including cost analysis and technical rigor assurance. Supplier price and delivery time comparison We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor / Budget Estimator to join our team. This role involves measuring quantities and preparing detailed budgets for construction and manufacturing projects. Daily responsibilities include analyzing materials, labor, equipment, and indirect costs; reviewing technical drawings and project specifications; performing measurements; preparing descriptive maps and quantity take-off maps; identifying all requirements for project execution; requesting quotations from material and service suppliers; comparing prices and delivery times; preparing error and omission reports; and ensuring timely, high-quality, and technically rigorous delivery. Minimum educational requirement: 12th grade completion; Technical Budget Estimator qualification and/or Civil Engineering (preferred) or Mechanical Engineering; or related fields. Minimum 1 year of experience in budget preparation for steel structures. Ability to work under pressure, with attention to detail and results orientation. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams. Preference given to candidates with knowledge/experience in metalworking. Proficiency in interpreting specifications, standards, and drawings. Proficiency in using computer tools, especially technical drawing software (AutoCAD, Tekla, CADSolid); knowledge of budgeting software is a plus.
